How we award scholarships
Last updated: Oct 17, 2026
Our commitment
Arizona Christian Tuition awards scholarships based first on each family's financial need. Our scholarship committee reviews every complete application, including household income, tuition, and the student's own story in the application narrative.
What we consider
Financial need comes first. We look at household income and size, tuition and other aid.
Your student's narrative. It helps us understand circumstances the numbers don't show.
Continuity. Returning students and siblings of current recipients receive priority.
Donor recommendations. We may consider them, but they never decide an award on their own.
Our four scholarship funds
Every approved student is considered for our Original scholarship. Students who meet state requirements may also qualify for Overflow/Switcher, corporate low-income, or corporate disabled/displaced scholarships, and may receive more than one. Scholarships are paid directly to the school and can be used at any qualified Arizona private school. A student with an active ESA can receive an award, but it can't be paid to the school while the ESA is active.
Applying
Apply each school year at actsto.org and upload the documents your application asks for. Incomplete applications can't be reviewed. If you disagree with a decision, you may ask us to reconsider within 30 days.
